Unfamiliar Intensity: Live Night Unfamiliar Intensity is an exhibition of new media and experimental art, running 4–8 November at the Former Non-Woven Textile Factory in Tbilisi. The works deal with intense personal experience: grief, the pain of existing, the chaos around us, and also a quieter, calmer intensity in how we perceive the natural world. Sound artworks are part of the exhibition, along with video, sculpture and other new media works. Come early and walk through the show before the live sets start. For one night, the exhibition becomes a live space for three artists working in ambient, drone, noise and experimental electronics: NINABYSS NINABYSS is a Georgian electronic music artist and sound explorer. She works across experimental electronics, modular synthesis and immersive soundscapes. Her music deals with memory, identity and human emotion through atmospheric textures, field recordings and unconventional sonic narratives. Eduard Berens Eduard Berens is an electronic musician and sound artist working between ambient, drone, noise and experimental electronics. His live sets combine analog synthesizers, complex rhythmic structures, evolving textures and real-time improvisation. He shapes the sound by moving his hands in the air, using Quray, a touchless gesture-based controller he built himself. The set moves between delicate atmospheres, raw electronic energy and unpredictable soundscapes. Phonisma Phonisma is the solo ambient and experimental live project of Georgia-based artist Kristine Chelidze. She started the project in 2018 and began performing it live in 2026, with several sets and an appearance at Delirock Festival. Phonisma explores the structures of noise and chaos, and also what a single note can express. Each performance moves between turbulence and stillness and unfolds as a story told through sound.
