Project Trance Revival PTR-007, 11.13 (Fri) 10pm-late at @pistilseoul —— Project Trance Revival(PTR)의 일곱번째 세션 파티가 11월 13일 금요일 Pistil에서 열립니다. Azrel은 영국 맨체스터를 기반으로 활동하는 프로듀서겸 DJ로, 그 만의 실험적인 해체 트랜스를 선보입니다. 앰비언트(Ambient) 특유의 광활한 공간감에 옛 향수를 자극하는 요소들, 그리고 Left-field Club 음악에서 가져온 그루브 및 샘플들을 결합하여 깊은 공간감과 강렬한 상승감을 구현합니다. 2023년 Minna-no-kimochi의 레이블 Mizuha에서 프로젝트 ‘Exstasis’를 발매하며 씬의 주목을 받았으며, Genome 6.66mbp, Hyperlink, Double Take Records, Low Income Squad, Mizuha 등 다양한 레이블에서 곡들을 발표해왔습니다. 최근에는 자신의 자체 레이블인 ‘World Cup’ 을 설립했으며, 이번에 PTR-007을 통해 Pistil에 첫 내한무대를 밟습니다. 서울의 브레이크/베이스 음악 씬의 핵심적인 크루 More Breaks의 주축 멤버인 Tabris, 서울의 레이브 트랜스의 청사진을 제시한 트랜스 크루 libiter의 멤버 M.bience, 그리고 PTR 크루의 East Hopeman, Pablo, zwen yirochi가 Azrel과 호흡을 맞추어 PTR의 7번째 이야기를 써내려갑니다. —— Project Trance Revival (PTR) returns for its 7th session on November 13th's friday night at Pistil. Azrel is a Manchester-based producer and DJ creating deconstructed and experimental interpretations of trance. His process focuses on synthesizing vast expanses and moments of euphoria, borrowing from the spatial width of ambient with grooves and samples borrowed from nostalgic cultural artifacts and left-field club music. He has released work on Genome 6.66mbp, Hyperlink, Double Take Records, Low Income Squad and Mizuha, including 2023 projects ‘Exstasis’ and his recent single ‘Way Home’. He has recently launched his own label ‘World Cup’.
