𝐊𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐈𝐃𝐎 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟓 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝟐𝟏:𝟎𝟎–𝟎𝟑:𝟎𝟎 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧 ・TFT (Table From Three) ・Woofoot aka Satsuki ・Ozwick ・Taigen Kawabe ・Thomyorko KALEIDO is a new party series connecting Tokyo and London through underground music, culture and community. For this first edition at Spanners, we bring together five DJs with roots across the Japanese and London scenes. The night also marks a farewell for TFT and Satsuki, before they leave London. At the heart of KALEIDO is a simple idea: different DJs, different perspectives, one shared floor. Japanese club culture is built through repetition. Small clubs, bars and independent parties create countless opportunities to play, learn how to read a room, understand the role of a time slot, and pass the energy naturally to the next DJ. KALEIDO brings some of that spirit into conversation with London. No hierarchy. No single genre defining the night. Just selectors building one continuous six-hour journey together. KALEIDOは、東京とロンドンのアンダーグラウンドな音楽、カルチャー、人をつなぐパーティーシリーズ。 Spannersでの最初の夜には、日本とロンドン、それぞれの現場にルーツを持つ5人のDJが集まります。 今回は、ロンドンを離れるTFTとWoofoot aka Satsukiを見送る夜でもあります。 万華鏡を意味する「KALEIDO」。 考え方はシンプルです。 違うDJ。違う視点。ひとつのフロア。 東京のアンダーグラウンドでDJを続ける人たちは、多くの場合、それぞれ本業を持ちながら、圧倒的な数の現場を経験していきます。 小箱。 DJバー。 自主企画。 何度も人前で回す。 フロアを読む。 自分の時間帯の役割を知る。 前のDJから流れを受け取り、次のDJへ渡す。 その反復が、技術になる。 量が、質になる。 ロンドンには、世界中からDJが集まります。 それぞれが自分の音を持ち、自分のスタイルを鳴らす。 その強さと個性が、ロンドンの魅力でもあります。 一方で、東京の現場には別の感覚があります。 自分の一時間だけで完結しない。 前のDJが何をかけたかを見る。 次のDJがどこへ行きたいかを考える。 一晩を、全員でつなぐ。 箱根駅伝のタスキのように、フロアの流れを次へ渡していく。 KALEIDOは、その東京的なDJの感覚を、ロンドンのフロアに持ち込みます。 上下関係もジャンルの縛りもない。 あるのは、それぞれの視点と、その夜全体への責任だけ。 全員で、6時間の流れを一緒につくる夜です。 流れはできた。あとはフロアで。 Enough thinking.
