Hybrid returns to Wigwam to kick off the new season, welcoming Marcal and JKS to the basement for two extended sets. Brazilian artist Marcal has established himself as one of the most distinctive names in modern techno, combining hypnotic, groove-driven rhythms with psych atmospheres, powerful low-end and futuristic sound design. His rise has taken him to some of the most respected dancefloors in the world, with multiple appearances at Berghain alongside sets at Bassiani and Awakenings. Joining him is Berlin-based JKS, an artist whose background in drumming is deeply rooted in his approach behind the decks. Percussive, hypnotic and constantly evolving, his sound moves between driving techno, UK bass, broken rhythms and 140, bringing a raw and physical energy to the dancefloor. A longstanding figure in the underground, he is also the founder of Smile Sessions and a former founding member of Molekül. With both artists given extended sets, expect two different interpretations of contemporary techno and the space for each to properly explore their sound across the night. Upstairs, the terrace will be taken over from open to close for an exclusive Hybrid vs Shed Residents session.
