Astral People & DUNJ Presents... ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ DEC 31 - SYD - INNER WEST WAREHOUSE TBA ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ JOY ORBISON TO HEADLINE A SECRET INNER WEST WAREHOUSE PARTY THIS NEW YEAR’S EVE Joy Orbison, highly regarded UK DJ and producer FOLD, and local party pioneers DUNJ come together for a New Year’s Eve takeover of a never-before-used warehouse in Sydney’s Inner West. This New Year’s Eve, Astral People brings the three acts together for a night built around the music, the people and the excitement of not quite knowing what to expect. No established club, just a new space, a sound system and 2,000 people coming together for the final hours of 2026. For Joy Orbison, the setting feels fitting. Few artists have shaped the sound of contemporary UK club music with quite the same restless curiosity. Across garage, techno, dubstep, house, grime and hip-hop, the London producer, born Peter O’Grady, has built a catalogue that moves between sounds without ever settling comfortably in one place. His 2024 track flight fm became a defining club record, its rolling drums, fleeting vocal and seismic bassline distilled into something both immediate and unmistakably his. More than fifteen years after Hyph Mngo first announced his arrival, Orbison continues to make music that feels connected to the underground while finding its way onto dancefloors far beyond it. That same spirit runs through the night’s supporting artists. FOLD brings a distinctly London perspective to the bill, while DUNJ represents the community-led party culture that continues to give Sydney’s underground its character. For Astral People, the warehouse becomes a meeting point for these worlds, bringing international and local club sounds together in a space experienced in an entirely new way. As the year draws to a close, the address will remain under wraps until closer to the event. For the final night of the year, the warehouse serves the community. Joy Orbison, FOLD and DUNJ take over a secret Inner West warehouse this New Year’s Eve, Thursday 31 December 2026. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which this festival takes place, the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, and pay our respects to Elders past and present.
