Friday 10/30 we’re ringing in Halloween at @lh_schubas upstairs with two returning guests that have shaped some of our best nights at Schubas. Mazi’s story as a producer and DJ begins in the mid-90’s and continues to evolve to this day. Under Mazi and Audio Soul Project, he’s had countless releases spanning disco-inspired grooves, deep house, stripped back house and experimental cuts that have shaped the sound of today’s house and tech house. He continues to reinvent, pushing the deeper sounds of garage and bass music under the alias Hadronix. This is serious business in the building next Friday. To open the floor we have one of our favorite back to backs. Cano Cruz and Full Circle’s Anthony Cruz. There’s a magic in the air when we watch this father-son dynamic. Cano Cruz has been behind the decks walking the walk of house music since day 1. He’s apart of a generation of DJ’s who’s lived both within the disco/pre-house era and the movements explosive rise in the early 80’s. It’s an honor to bring this lineup to Schubas upstairs. See you next Friday for Halloween weekend 9PM. Costumes encouraged!!
