Inspired by the dreamlike world of surrealist artist Joan Miró, A/V LAB returns on November 20 for a night of experimental electronic music and immersive visuals, featuring Kiki LeFreak and Marnigurl with DJ sets spanning electro, disco, and techno. As part of the Experimental Link Series, NOAK (MONTREAL, aka Kamyar Karimi) and Kae Murphy perform together for the first time, blending EBM with experimental trumpet and electronics. Deniz (Halifax) presents Air Residue (Studies in Air and Silence), a 20-minute composition transforming overlooked sounds of air, silence, and everyday spaces into an intimate listening experience. Ameen and Golnoush present Echoes of the Unseen, an immersive installation, while blapcode (Benjamin Lappalainen) transforms the dancefloor and the space above it through video installations and creative code, exploring the boundaries between technology and visual art. Presented by Link Music Lab.
