On October 9, Arcana welcomes Alvaro and Solar for a night exploring two distinct sides of their deep and expansive musical collections. Bumpmaster Sound System and Meyer Sound will be transforming the sonic experience at Arcana for the night. GREENHOUSE Alvaro will draw from a vinyl library built over decades of collecting, moving freely through disco, house, Italo, post-punk, African rhythms, boogie, soul, new wave and beyond. Eclectic in scope but connected by a common thread, his selections are built for the dance floor. FERN BAR Solar, best known for his techno and alternative dance sets, will take a different direction for the evening. Digging deeper into his extensive collection, he’ll present a rare ambient set spanning genres, textures and moods, revealing the more meditative side of his musical world. Two selectors, two approaches: Alvaro bringing movement and energy, Solar offering space to slow down, listen and drift. Come early stay late!
