This event will take place in EartH Theatre. Missing fishing trawler Rose of Nevada mysteriously returns to a Cornish harbour. Two young men join its new crew, unaware of how their fates are about to change. Mark Jenkin’s haunting third feature continues his exploration of Cornish folk myth. The score will be performed live by Mark Jenkin and Dion Star, known under the banner The Cornish Sound Unit, who employ improvised and composed pieces using tape machines, analogue synths, guitars, feedback and field recordings. A curated playlist on the night by Tash Cutts (Glas Recordings) will pay homage to the legendary Kernow label, Sentinel Records.
