New music moving directly from the studio to the dancefloor. That is how Imogen Recordings makes its return. After a brief pause, the label is relaunching its release schedule along with its label nights at Peti Kupe. The first mark of this new chapter is a remix EP of Ilija Rudman’s 'Danceteria'. Following the original's club run on London’s Make A Dance Records, the track has been handed over to Charles Webster—Rudman’s longtime friend and collaborator—who produced four distinct remixes. From his teenage years in Sheffield to working as a studio engineer in Nottingham, Webster became one of the key architects of the UK deep house sound. Over the years, he developed a signature blend of house, soul, dub, and atmospheric electronics, while his 1990s imprints, Love From San Francisco and Remote, bridged the UK club scene with the California underground. Webster and Rudman are set to play the upcoming Imogen party on October 23, joined by another seminal artist: Mathew Jonson. Known for his live improvisations, Jonson treats performances not as playback, but as an on-the-spot reconstruction of his catalog using analog hardware. With a career spanning nearly 25 years, Jonson’s discography includes releases on Perlon, Kompakt, M_nus, and Cocoon, alongside club staples like 'Marionette' and 'Decompression'. Completing the lineup is Ivan Ljutić, the Rovinj-based DJ, producer, and head of Forbidden Dance and Third World Records. Imogen brings the whole circuit back into focus: music, release, artist, venue, and dancer. Early bird tickets are available for a limited time.
