PLAYTIME｜9.25 PLAYTIME is a label & party series created by host manju, its name borrowed from Jacques Tati's classic film Playtime. Every event isn't defined by "genre" — sound freely drifts between warm, retro textures and imaginative technological echoes: familiar yet unfamiliar, never confined to one box. We just want to hold onto that feeling — light, playful, a little surreal, occasionally nostalgic. This time, we're thrilled to welcome France's rising star of new generation electronic music, DVDE, to join Playtime! An engineering graduate turned vinyl-digging enthusiast, he's the founder of Operation Madness Records and House Of Underground, having signed heavyweight artists like Boo Williams, Scan 7, and DMX Krew. His solo EP "Ultralucid Paris" was championed by veterans like Vladimir Ivkovic upon release, and in 2025, he's teaming up with legendary producer DMX Krew, featuring 90s golden voice Robert Owens, for a refreshing new release. His sound travels between Disco, Detroit House, and Acid-House — 303 acid sequences + solid 808/909 drum machines + mysterious vocal samples, with that retro texture he loves. He's one of Paris's Badaboum's top ten residents, and Rex Club, Tresor, HÖR, and Refuge Worldwide are all his home turf. The night's narrative begins with groove goddess Shengchou, quietly laying the rhythmic foundation for the whole evening with solid, dense beats. manju takes the stage next, bringing her signature cinematic storytelling to the dancefloor, building a bridge between calm and frenzy through vocals and samples. Joining the lineup — atmosphere master Cosmic Egg picks up the baton, blending East and West rhythms and melodies in an undefinable style, pushing the energy ever higher. Finally, Callmepanda closes out the night, reigniting all the emotion built up throughout the evening, carrying us straight through to dawn! September 25th, PLAY TIME. Life is a playground. Play!
