Saturday November 7th, BlueRoom welcomes Mechanic / ACE-F & Elyēs ( FERMÉ ) Montréal-based DJ Oliver Lasry, aka The Mechanic, specializes in deep, dark progressive house. Inspired by marathon sets and known for his patient, precise approach, he builds long, evolving journeys through sound. He has performed at venues across Montréal, including Newspeak, Velvet, Emerald and NWHR, as well as internationally in Stockholm and Athens. After two years refining his sound, he's back behind the decks with a deeper musical selection than ever. Moroccan-born and Montréal-based, ACE-F is the founder and resident DJ of FERMĒ. Behind the decks since 11, his sound moves freely across techno, house, deep, breakbeat and acid, guided by instinct and the energy of the room. Having played professionally since 17, he has built a strong presence in Montréal’s underground electronic scene, performing at Salon Daome, Velvet, Baby Bar, Stillife and Cappella. Through FERMĒ, he also brings his vision to life beyond the booth, expanding the project internationally. Montréal-based DJ and producer, Elyēs began his electronic music journey in Tunisia in 2007. His sound blends minimal and micro-house, electro-breaks, and groovy basslines, with influences from deep house, progressive and minimal techno. Having performed across South Asia, Latin America and Europe, he has built an international presence. He is also the co-founder of Subtone Movement and a co-curator of both Subtone and FERMĒ, contributing to Montréal’s underground electronic music community.
