And after months of chasing sunsets across fields, coastlines and open-air floors, every one of us has had to stop, look down, and check our compass. For Anders Navigare, that compass has been steadily guiding a two-decade journey through purist psychedelia, from childhood sessions learning to beatmatch, through years as a visionary festival organizer and vagabond DJ, to his current role as co-label manager for Navigare Audio. Sweden's own master of deep, pulsing hypnotic textures, he's distilled a sound that bridges the roots of nighttime psy with today's matured, hypnotic techno, built on depth and warmth over spectacle. For Kalumet, that compass pointed straight home to Navigare Audio, and to the release of Compass EP, a record built from three decades of navigating the Hungarian underground. It's a map drawn in sound: deep, hypnotic, captivating. And it turns out they weren't the only ones reading the needle.
