Matter returns for the third edition of our annual gathering, taking place this year across two spaces - from daytime at Pedion Areos to the early hours at Ilion Plus. We start in the park with a lineup drawn entirely from the local scene, moving through ambient territories, broken rhythms, dubwise pressure and bass-heavy electronics. The daytime session is built around the soundsystem and a relaxed, open setting in nature, with the music gradually picking up as dusk approaches. Once the park closes for the night, we move nearby to Ilion Plus for a more intimate, limited-capacity club night. London-based producer and sound artist Tristan Arp will be joining us there, bringing an immersive live set of electronics and hand-played percussion. His intricate polyrhythms, shifting textures and interplay between organic and synthetic sound will lead us deeper into the night, alongside some of Athens’ most prominent DJs completing the lineup.
