Miami-based DJ and producer Amal Nemer heads to Chicago for a late-night session at Hideaway on October 9. Born in Venezuela and of Lebanese heritage, Nemer has built a reputation around a groove-driven approach to house music, moving between tech house, melodic house and Afro house. Her productions have landed on labels including Nervous Records, Moon Harbour, Glasgow Underground, Made in Miami and Farris Wheel, with tracks including “Shot Por Mi,” “Suavecito” and “Amal’s Dream” earning Beatport Top 100 placements.
