About Belly Gang Kushington Born Victor Thomas in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in the city's Adamsville neighborhood, Belly Gang Kushington began his rap career in 2020, determined to leave behind a turbulent past and provide a better life for his autistic son. Drawing on the influences of Future and the broader Atlanta trap tradition, he steadily released singles throughout the early 2020s, with tracks including 5pm in Atlanta and Same Day racking up millions of streams and catching the attention of major artists. In 2024 he was featured on Killer Mike's album Songs for Sinners & Saints and signed to Love Renaissance (LVRN), the acclaimed Atlanta-based label that has helped launch the careers of 6LACK, Summer Walker, and Lil Baby. His debut studio album The Streets Is Yours, released April 25, 2025, offered a raw and autobiographical look at his life, with standout tracks including Sorry Mama, 75 on 75, Birds Like Popeyes, and Ice Cup. His breakout moment came with Friend Do featuring YKNiece, which became a strip club anthem across Atlanta and a nationwide phenomenon, peaking at number six on Billboard's Bubbling Under Hot 100 and appearing on the deluxe edition The Streets Is Yours: The Re-Up (November 2025). In March 2026 he was named Billboard's Hip-Hop Rookie of the Month, in May he received a BET Award nomination for Best New Artist, and in September 2026 his collaboration with 21 Savage WTF GOIN debuted at number 85 on the Billboard Hot 100, his first ever entry on the chart.
