Party.zip is meant to be a participative Sunday afternoon/evening, where everybody with or without DJ skills has a chance to play their favorite music. The first two hours of our event are dedicated to the people that don’t have anything to do with DJing or performing live music. We will be collecting song wishes at the door of AUX BAR where everyone that enters is able to suggest a song which we are going to play on a proper sound system, set up in the bar. After that, we encourage DJs to play music they love, but were never able to mix live. We want them to feel free to create their own mix of music without the pressure of having to satisfy a promoter or general theme. We are always willing to take inquiries for DJ sets and we encourage you to send us your most creative mix of music. Since the gathering is on a Sunday, we are aiming for a calm atmosphere in which everybody is still able to have conversations or just sit around and enjoy the music. We don’t want to dictate the genres that will be played at the gathering, but we ask you to submit tracks that fit the atmosphere of what’s going on! We will try to offer some snacks, e.g. sandwiches/chips/bread, and there will also be alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks at the bar. There will also be some posters of the gathering available for 5 Euros each. The entry will be free.
