For our final event of the year, we are hosting El Búho at Panke to present his new album _Hogar_ As part of an intimate series of concerts in small venues, El Búho will be presenting Hogar in a close and special live format. Expect a warm, cozy evening of organic electronica, Latin American folk, cumbia, downtempo, visuals, live percussion and very special guests. Hogar is an album about what it means to feel at home: the people we love, the places that shape us, roots, migration, and that deep sense of belonging. ོ El Búho Robin Perkins aka El Búho was born in the rolling hills of northern England but found his musical home in the forests, rivers & mountains of Latin America. Having studied Latin America Studies in Glasgow, he spent time living, studying and working in Argentina and travelling throughout the continent. His sound marries his influence of Dub, IDM and Electronica with the rhythms, traditions and melodies of Latin American folk and the organic sound of waterfalls, birdsongs and crackling leaves. The result is a dreamy, deep, melodic journey that entrances as much through headphones as it does on the dancefloor. Opening the night ོ MARWAN HAWASH Marwan Hawash is a Palestinian DJ and producer based in Berlin. His sets draw on rhythms and textures from North Africa, West Asia, and Latin America, combining them with contemporary electronic elements. Closing the night ོ Amuleto Manuela Born in Colombia and now based in Berlin, she is a DJ and selector who blends Latin American and diaspora sounds. Her fluid sets mix folkloric influences with contemporary club rhythms, focusing on vinyl records. Her danceable mixes include African diaspora music, Afro-Latin Funk Soul, Disco, Boleros, Cumbias, Samba, and Guguancó, with each song chosen and played with love for a seamless groove.
