Dr. Nishimura is a veteran DJ and dedicated record buyer who performs regularly at prestigious clubs and festivals throughout Japan and around the world. Having served as a buyer for renowned record shops such as Barong, Cisco House Shop, and Jet Set, he has cultivated extensive musical knowledge over a 20+ year career—earning him the honorific title of "Dr." His performances, backed by this wealth of experience, have earned high praise from numerous artists he has shared the stage with. As a member of DISCOSSESSION alongside Chee Shimizu, Jonny Nash, and Zecky, he was among the first in Japan to champion deep European disco sounds like Italo and Cosmic, pioneering a reappraisal of Balearic music that gained global attention. Currently, he is active in the group Akuma no Numa / 悪魔の沼 (named after the Japanese title of Tobe Hooper's film Eaten Alive), formed alongside COMPUMA and AWANO. In parallel, his solo sets feature high-density, high-intensity grooves that frequently utilize slow BPMs and complex polyrhythms, showcasing a distinct left-field techno sensibility. Since July 2018, he has been affiliated with Lighthouse Records, where he continues to introduce compelling new releases from around the world. Joining him is Yadin Moha, a boundary-pushing selector whose sets oscillate between dancefloor energy and ceiling-gazing introspection. From experimental electronics and noise on radio to _wave, post-punk, dub, electro, and techno in clubs, Yadin’s sound is a bridge between contemporary electronic music, deconstructed traditions, and subversive symbolism. A pioneer of outsider dance music in Southeast Asia, he’s spent over 15 years converting listeners one track at a time.
