On November 29, AAPEX welcomes Berlin-based Dutch-Italian composer and musician Grand River (Aimée Portioli) for a live performance of Temporary, her latest album released on Editions Mego. Blending analogue and digital synthesis with acoustic instrumentation, Grand River creates richly textured, emotionally resonant soundscapes that move between ambient, experimental electronics, and contemporary classical music. Her work has appeared on labels including Editions Mego, Spazio Disponibile, light-years, and Ghostly International. Rooted in personal experiences of grief and loss, Temporary explores impermanence, transformation, and the fragile nature of existence. Resonant guitar work and layered electronics unfold into intimate, immersive soundscapes, shifting between moments of stillness and intensity.
