Perpetua Kollektiv is back at Cocoon Bar on October 16th! "Perpetua Kollektiv“ is a dynamic collective of international artists based in Berlin and Barcelona, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of spoken-word, performance art, electronic music, and contemporary dance. We have a really fantastic lineup this time that we can’t wait to share with you! 1) Yapacc & Pakkadej Yapacc Berlin based uwe george is long in the biz as a producer and live act, also part of Narcotic Syntax and owner of modular company "Rides in the Storm". He also founded the German pop band "Reuterbox" alongside Fadila. Last releases are "tamir tapir technology" Logistic rec 086, yapacc feat Fadila at URSLCOMP009 - VA and "hedge funk throater" - lilas rec digi001. Pakkadej Chiang Mai-born, london/berlin-based Pakkadej has spun records and played live modular in the German capital for more than a decade. His musical productions and collaborations have been released on Astelagüel, Dalken and Klangscheiben. He is also working for the modular company "Rides in the storm". Yapacc&Pakkadej perform regularly international modular gigs and host the monthly Modular Pub event in Berlin NK beside their "Rides in the storm" podcast. Both offer a dub/minimal set with some techno elements. 2) Jean Frais Originally from London and now based in Berlin, DJ and producer Jean Frais has a sound rooted in funk, groove, and house music. Moving through disco house, funky house and beyond, his sets blend classic influences with a modern house sound. 3) Gebrüder Luftdruck Merging warm electronic beats with swirly electric guitar patterns, Berlin-based duo *Gebrüder Luftdruck* challenges the barrier between acoustic instruments and electronic dance music. With their one-of-a-kind mix of moody downtempo sounds, psychedelic guitars, and experimental sound design, they have overcome every genre obstacle and now whirl about freely, looking for the next limits to tackle. 4) Perpetua Band PERPETUA is a three-piece electronic act based in Berlin. Known for their colourful blend of improvisational Detroit-style techno and spoken word poetry. Their approach emphasises the connection between performer and audience during a live set. Every performance is crafted on the spot, making it a one-time event that will never be recreated. 5) Miss Kitchen She is a DJ known for her vibrant and dynamic sets that fuse groove, emotion, and energy, often laced with a touch of silliness that keeps the crowd smiling as much as it’s moving. Genre-fluid and dance-floor-oriented, her sets span tech, bass, progressive, and minimal house, with touches of deep tech and UK garage, and excursions into indie dance, techno, psy-tech, and minimal dark when the mood calls for it. In Berlin, she’s a familiar face in the city’s underground, DIY, and itinerant party scenes. Alongside her club gigs, she regularly plays at raves and off-location events that keep Berlin’s party scene raw and alive.
