LIVE ELECTRONIC MUSIC AND ALGORITHMIC AUDIO VISUALS Special guests: Nesso, Nocturnerror and jung latch flying in from Berlin to play along side genre[fatigue] artists. genre[fatigue] is an algorithmic audio visual label. On Thursday 8 October we take over M.O.T with an immersive audio visual rig. Showcasing established and new artists performing a range of multi-genre dance floor oriented sets using algorithmic computer generated audio and visuals. Expect paced curation with bright and crisp visuals on three large screens with laser projectors to create an immersive audio visual experience with a dance floor / club focus. Artists use open source tools like Pure Data and TidalCycles to generate the audio, and TouchDesigner and GEM to generate the visuals. The music is dance music. Drum and bass, breaks, techno, bass, club. Recognisable genres, mixed at club tempo, built to be danced to. We think being entertaining is a prerequisite for anything innovative. genre[fatigue] was created by m-onz who has a track record of running algorithmic audio visual events ( aka fake[dac~] ). -- Nine artists -- Three screens. -- Laser projectors. -- Five hours. -- Free.
