Budapest-based Palo Canto creates its own ever-evolving world at the intersection of organic electronica, ethno techno and contemporary electronic music. Hypnotic guitars, organic textures, tribal rhythms and vocals evoking ancient rituals meet the pulsating energy of dance music. A Ritual of Connection is an evening about connection — to ourselves, to each other, to the music, and to the shared energy that can only come into existence in one space, in one particular moment. From the very beginning, one of the core ideas behind Palo Canto’s music has been that dance can be more than movement: it can become a ritual, a way to leave the noise of the outside world behind for a while and move closer to something more instinctive, elemental and deeply felt. Over the past years, Palo Canto’s music has reached an increasingly international audience. In just two years, the band has performed in nearly 20 countries, while their releases have received attention from platforms such as Cercle, Mixmag, KEXP and Electronic Groove. On November 27, Palo Canto returns to Kassa Hajó with their most complete live show to date, bringing together material from their two full-length albums alongside new songs. A Ritual of Connection is more than a concert. It is a space created together — a moment in which the boundary between the band and the audience begins to dissolve, and rhythm, movement and presence become a shared language.
