Back after a prolonged summer hiatus, **YETZE Casino Nights** returns to **Ballhaus Ost** with an ethereal blast from Down Under: Naarm/Melbourne-based three-piece **Dumbhead** are going to perform their first-ever live show in Germany on Nov 1, 2026. Known to create bass-heavy soundscapes built for late-night movement, Dumbhead’s debut show is going to be an immersive and unpredictable Sunday Special… Moving effortlessly between bass-heavy electronica and alt-rock experimentation, trippy downtempo spheres and jazz-tinged excursions, Dumbhead hail from the traditional land of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. Initially a bedroom production duo formed by Maayan Barnatan (Guitar, Bass, Programming, Backing Vocals) and Zach Salmon (Drum Programming), the two producers were soon joined by trained jazz singer Billie Raffety – and started to outline the group’s ethereal, perpetually shape-shifting and cinematic sound. Quietly nodding to classics such as Björk, Radiohead, or Massive Attack, Dumbhead’s collective inspirations also include HTRK or former tour mates Acopia. Occasionally joined by guest musicians such as trumpet player Henry Rawlings, Dumbhead followed up their debut EP “Stop Motion” (2023) with their self-titled sophomore EP in late 2025. Across six tracks including “Want Light!” and “Problem Dog,” the latest song collection saw them explore a whole slew of moods and energies, genres and styles.
