Well Well Well... After a lovely Boston showcase back in March, we had to come back again with The Connection - this time from Detroit! There has always been a touch of the D in NYC, and on October 6th we are importing rising Detroit star Dykechow to carry on that special history of exchange between the Motor City and the Big Apple. She is known for infusing a frenzied punk rock defiance and adoration of wall-of-sound noise into sleek, sultry mixes of acid house, electro, synthpop, and leftfield techno. A devotee of video nasty horror movies and dark club aesthetics, her approach centers the suspenseful push/pull dynamic between dancer and DJ. The streets are saying she absolutely smashed it at Club Toilet this year, and we are incredibly excited to host her at her Bossa Debut. Joining her will be honorary Detroit citizen turned back-to-New-Yorker 4AM NYC, who has just permanently returned to Brooklyn from a long tour of duty in the 313. 4AM NYC has been spinning their way through the most vibrant Underground scenes across the globe for just shy of 15yrs- undefined by genre and fulfilling the assignment every damn time. Garage house, disco, electro, RnB, techno, synth pop, new wave, old favs - It's whatever the dancefloor calls for! Mixed to perfection without hesitation and delivered with that signature 4AM NYC "all-or-nothing-we're-gonna-live-forever!!" attitude. Their sets have become every hotgirl's obsession, every sweat-drenched club head's top tier night out, every dedicated dancer's dream. And rounding things out is New York's trusted house & disco diva, A lana. She needs little introduction in Brooklyn at this point, having spun records all around town for years, holding various residencies (currently at Public Records), and curating an impossibly deep & groovy record collection that never fails to satisfy. This summer has seen high profile performances at massive events like Honcho Campout and System Activate, and she shows no signs of slowing down.
