On Friday, November 27, we’re getting together again for brzeguze's most important mission: dancing. Straight from Paris, Pitaya Soundsystem will be taking control of the dancefloor at Club Aquarius, just for you. Behind this collective are three Italians, passionate vinyl collectors and tireless diggers in search of forgotten musical gems. Inspired by exotic sounds, musical roots and rhythms from all corners of the world, these disco romantics have been winning over Parisian dancefloors for years with their colourful fusion of disco, balearic, rare groove, boogie, Latin jazz, proto-house and ancient rhythms. Their selections know no boundaries or genre rules – from obscure seven-inch records to cosmic disco and hypnotic percussion, everything serves one purpose: dancing. If their motto, “Sun lovers, drum bangers, cold showers”, is anything to go by, we’re in for a seriously hot autumn night. Joining Pitaya Soundsystem behind the decks will be our very own disco cowboys, Mr T and Martin Branilović. A big dance party comes with big responsibilities, and this time ours is to throw an amazing after-party following the biggest Zagreb concert yet for our friends in the band Nemanja.
