Fragmented loops of sound shift and evolve in **Jocelyn Campbell’s** new work, *lo-end*. The unexpected combination of tuba (**Nona Lawrence**), double bass (**Gwen Reed**), and electronics (Campbell) shifts the ambient electronic genre into the analogue world. Theatreship becomes a space of the uncanny: what is live and what is recorded becomes unknown, as sound becomes embodied and disembodied in an ever-evolving wave of ambient music. Tuba and double bass accompany themselves through live and pre-recorded elements, memories that are eroded and disappear as soon as they become live. Sounds appear between memory and invention, presence and disappearance, and electronics and analogue. Support comes from **Pav** - a London-based composer, producer and sound designer. The closing DJ set - a combination of modernist music and electronics - comes from **phonewifey**, Campbell’s producer and DJ alter-ego.
