JD3 is a London-based hip hop-meets-jazz trio formed in 2017, led by Duayne Sanford (Dua Lipa, Christine & The Queens, Liam Payne, Roots Manuva, Honne) with co-founder David Mrakpor (BlueLab Beats, The Banger Factory) on keyboards. The group's sound draws on their respective Jamaican and Nigerian heritage, mixing it with rhythms and melodies inspired by the late J Dilla’s iconic productions.
