Saturday 07th November 1-3pm (register for tickets) - Wet Felt Workshop by Merve Sagit Hands-on wet felting workshop for up to 15 participants, bringing people together around tactile creativity, sustainable materials, and community building. As a Steering Committee member of Fibreshed Ireland, I will be working with 100% local Irish wool, guiding participants through the traditional wet felting process. To bridge my cross-cultural heritage, I will provide pattern templates inspired by traditional Anatolian motifs alongside Celtic Irish knotwork, which participants can freely integrate into their pieces. This workshop aims to create a welcoming, contemplative space for collective making and cultural dialogue through raw local materials. - Mending/Sewing workshop by Julian Hauxwell "A hand sewing/ mending/ sashiko workshop. Where people can bring clothes that need repairing/reinforcing and I can demonstrate how to use these techniques to create visible mending onto garments/textiles to highlight the life and memory of such objects.
