Raffy Bushman has been a key voice in the UK jazz underground for several years. From his early piano trio projects rooted in exploring the relationship between jazz and hip-hop, through to his innovate classical crossover explorations with his string quintet, NuShape Orchestra and Unit 31, heʼs an artist steeped in the jazz traditions of innovation and exploration. Raffy launched his debut album New Life earlier this year, which focuses on his blossoming relationship, followed by the news of the imminent arrival of him and his partnerʼs first child. The album, and Raffy's show, soundtrack these themes of love and the establishment of a new family unit. Our intimate Late Night Jazz series presents sensational music in the Elgar Room, celebrating the freshest sounds on the London scene alongside the finest in jazz standards. We have a laid-back attitude at Late Night Jazz at the Royal Albert Hall. Customers are welcome to dance, move around, sing along, and enjoy themselves in whatever way feels most comfortable!
