This November, KULA Collective brings the rhythms and energy of Africa and its diaspora to South East London for a specially curated night of live music, DJs and a FREE African drumming workshop. **Okailey Music** Leading the night is Okailey Music, a project from master drummer Abass Dodoo, rooted in the musical traditions of Ghana. Okailey blends traditional West African melodies with Afro-rock riffs, improvised jazz and infectious rhythms. Expect live drums, rich percussion and hypnotic melodies that move between tradition and experimentation. **Rare Treat** Rare Treat is a London-based international DJ exploring the full breadth of the Global African diaspora. Her sets move through Dancehall, Afrobeats, Jungle, Jersey Club, Baile Funk, Kuduro, Amapiano and House, while drawing on Reggae, Afrobeat and traditional African instrumentation. A resident at Oroko Radio, she champions African diasporic sounds across radio, clubs and festivals. š„ FREE African Drumming Workshop - 8PM Before the music starts at 9PM, Abass Dodoo will lead a **FREE 45-minute drumming workshop**, exploring traditional rhythms and percussion techniques.
