Saturday September 19th - BlueRoom welcomes Lio / Duchesse / Lara Bee Over the past 15 years, Montreal-based DJ, producer, and sound engineer Lio has developed a hypnotic sound that moves across electronic subgenres. The Lebanese artist is known for stripped-back club sets and deep, jazz-leaning minimalism. He has played at SAT and Salon Daomé in Montreal, as well as Tapestry in Toronto and Nomad Beach Club in Beirut. He is also a co-founder of Beirut-based collective and label Hypnotic LTD. Duchesse is a Beirut-born, Montreal-based artist moving between deep house, house, and minimal. She has performed at Piknic Électronik, MUTEK, and Salon Daomé, with warm, gradual mixes shaped by her background in classical ballet, guitar, and music theory. She is also a co-founder of the BOHÕ collective. Lara Bee is a Montreal-based DJ and music selector known for eclectic, groove-driven sets. She has performed at Piknic Électronik, opened for Adam Port, &ME and played at Salon Daomé alongside other local venues. She brings an atmospheric and rhythm-focused approach to the dancefloor.
