In October Spooky Surf Club returns from their summer break to host their residency at Giselle Bar, Duesseldorf. For this event we finally welcome Lavan who has already contributed an outstabding set for our anniversary podcast earlier this year. Born in East London and raised in Essex, Lavan is the youngest in a family of British/Malaysian descent. Having honed his craft through cracked computer software and his father’s old funk/soul records, he was later introduced to house music via his roommate turned label partner. This accidental encounter would lead to his relocation to Berlin, where the Ascension on Wax record label was created. He expertly blends Garage House, Deep House & UKG to a destinctive sound that guarantees satisfaction on the dancefloor! Spooky Surf Club founder and resident Eric aka dj flatbeat will be the support act to open and close the night. Gates open at 10 P.M. We advice to come early since we've experienced longer queues and even entry stops at our last events at Giselle.
