Tributo a Rivers'59 I Temática

𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗢 𝗣𝗢𝗥 𝗨𝗡𝗔 𝗡𝗢𝗖𝗛𝗘, 𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗩𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗦 𝗔 𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦'𝟱𝟵. 𝗔 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝟭𝟵𝟵𝟱 𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱ó 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀'𝟱𝟵, 𝗰𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝗹𝗮 𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗮 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿ó𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗲ñ𝗮 𝘀𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗮 𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗶ó𝗻. Tras el cierre de algunas de las salas más emblemáticas de la época, donde el trance y sus diferentes vertientes habían sido protagonistas, comenzaba a abrirse paso una nueva forma de entender la música electrónica y la cultura de club. En la misma ubicación que anteriormente habían ocupado 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 y 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗺𝗲𝗻, nació una sesión que marcaría la evolución de la escena madrileña a partir de 1996. 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀'𝟱𝟵 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁ó 𝘂𝗻 𝗮𝘂𝘁é𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘂𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝘀 é𝗽𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘀. Conservaba la esencia de 𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 tan lisérgico, ácido y potente, mientras incorporaba 𝗹𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿ó𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘀 𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗲 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗮 𝘆 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗼𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗱𝗼𝘀. El trance convivía con 𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼, 𝗲𝗹 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲, 𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘆 𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, además de 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗹á𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝟴𝟬 𝘆 𝟵𝟬. 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝘇𝗰𝗹𝗮, lejos de responder a una fórmula establecida, 𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗹𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝗮 𝘂𝗻𝗮 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗮. Por su cabina pasaron residentes como 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝘀, 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘇, 𝗚𝗼𝗿𝗶, Á𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗼 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘀𝗮 u Ó𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗿 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝘂, entre otros. El viernes 6 de noviembre, en 𝗧𝗘𝗠Á𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗔, recuperaremos aquella esencia en una noche muy especial en la que 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗢 𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥Á𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗦 𝗗𝗘 𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦'𝟱𝟵, celebrando además el cumpleaños de Vans: 𝗩𝗔𝗡𝗦 (𝗕-𝗗𝗔𝗬) & 𝗝𝗔𝗡𝗢 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗭 For one night only, we return to Rivers'59. Rivers'59 was founded in late 1995, just as Madrid's electronic music scene was undergoing a major transformation. Following the closure of some of the era's most iconic venues—where trance and its various subgenres had reigned supreme—a new approach to electronic music and club culture began to emerge. At the very same location previously occupied by Provisional and The Omen, a club night was born that would shape the evolution of the Madrid scene from 1996 onwards. Rivers'59 represented a true meeting point between two eras. It retained the essence of that highly lysergic, acid, and potent trance sound, while incorporating the new electronic music trends arriving from Europe and the United States. Trance coexisted with techno, house, techno-house, and techno-trance, alongside great classics from the 80s and 90s. That blend—far from following a set formula—gave rise to a unique identity. Its DJ booth hosted residents such as Vans, Jano Hertz, Gori, Álvaro Espinosa, and Óscar Guau, among others. On Friday, November 6, at 𝗧𝗘𝗠Á𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗔, we’ll recapture that essence during a very special night featuring 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦'𝟱𝟵 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗗𝗝𝗦, while also celebrating Vans' birthday: 𝗩𝗔𝗡𝗦 (𝗕-𝗗𝗔𝗬) & 𝗝𝗔𝗡𝗢 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗭
