Francesco Farfa, a native of Florence, was among the first to set Italy abuzz with a psychedelic and avant-garde sound. His sets, never predictable, combine impeccable technique, experimental turntablism, and an astonishing ability to keep the dance floor in a constant state of narrative tension. Farfa is one of those artists who never limited himself to simply “playing records”: he told stories of journeys, pushed boundaries, and created new musical languages.
