On October 30th, we’ll be joined by the lovely folks at transit records at our favorite dark room, Kinki! Versailles needs no intro but we’ll take a a stab at it anyway - her approach to club concoctions leans heavy into the dark, experimental side of things, so we thought it would make for a super interesting interpretation of the bouncy housey-ness that Moving Parts seems to be known for. All on top of her journalistic and cultural body of work, she carries a soft confidence on how to send a dancefloor over the edge. Local Sun on the other hand is no stranger to what we get down on. From playing one of our first club nights to a particularly nautical b3b we had at Wonderfruit’s Forbidden Fruit stage - his signature bright, balearicism sets up a masterful bait-n-switch into harder, frenetic territory. The immersively warm sound signature at Kinki is also owed to his work at Fatima Sound Practice, so he knows just the right levers to pull. See ya for the hot & scaries next Friday!
