Wooden Cathedral, written by Matt Sargent, is a concert for solo bass, immersive recorded bass environment, and real-time electronics. It draws its material from Machaut's Messe de Nostre Dame along with dimensions of the Notre Dame Cathedral, to create canons and polyphony turning the bass into its own acoustic cathedral.
