With over 20 years of experience, Joana Castanheira lives for and through art. A singer, songwriter, and performer, she has a large catalog of original releases, building a career marked by the sensitivity and authenticity of her work. Joana’s music moves between contemporary jazz and Latin American and Iberian sounds, creating a sophisticated, intense, and deeply emotional musical identity. Throughout her career, she has worked with artists such as Pedro Altério and Paulo Novaes, a Latin Grammy winner, who participated in her latest album, Desapreço. Currently, Joana released a new EP with acoustic versions of tracks from her latest album, and has performances already scheduled in Portugal and London for October of this year.
