C.U.M: THE CIRCLE BELOW 24 October 2026 | Aby’ss Shanghai C.U.M (Common Underground Members), one of China’s most uncompromising underground electronic music projects, returns to Aby’ss Shanghai with THE CIRCLE BELOW, bringing together the city’s underground artists for an intense collision of hardcore music, immersive lighting and experimental performance. Founded in Shanghai by PRYMARA, C.U.M represents the heavier side of China’s underground electronic music culture. Rooted in hardcore, hard techno, industrial sounds and high-BPM rave, the collective has developed its own identity through resident culture, extreme electronic music and multidisciplinary performances. For THE CIRCLE BELOW, DISCIPLINE takes the spotlight with a special hardcore set, joined by PRYMARA, Extreme John, GOGA, GERGER and Oil Nature. Together, the Aby’ss residents and C.U.M artists will deliver a relentless journey through the harder spectrum of underground electronic music. The night also features a special performance by Soul x Sasha, an artistic duo combining contemporary dance, light and digital technology. An intense immersive lighting production will transform the dancefloor into an environment where sound, movement and visual perception collide. More than another club night, THE CIRCLE BELOW continues C.U.M’s mission of building an independent underground community from within Shanghai. At Aby’ss, one of the city’s established underground electronic music venues, local artists, experimental performance and hardcore rave culture come together to push the boundaries of China’s contemporary club scene. THE CIRCLE BELOW. Built in Shanghai. Driven by hardcore.
