Liberation Technology is a disenfranchised American duo formed in Cleveland by artists RA Washington and Messiah In Glytch. The duo blends rap, noise and electronic music into a hybrid nod to free improvisation and ecstatic Jazz traditions. Detroit drummer/improvisor Djallo Djakate's long-standing Inner Ear project reconstitutes as a duet with legendary trumpeter Tony Holland (Griot Galaxy) signing on to transmit the frequency. Tapping ancient technologies able to eliminate agents of hopelessness and despair, this evening exercises the realization of spirit through musical divination.
